Unlike most spiders, tarantulas do not spin webs to catch prey.  Tarantulas spin silk to trick out their burrows making them more comfy, free of debris, and dare we say . . . beautiful. Then, when it's time to eat, tarantulas are patient. When some juicy morsel happens by they ambush it & paralyze it with venom. Gotta love her fangs!
